Class of '23 Testimonials

Updated: May 15, 2023

Daliha

I compare my life at St.Matthias to be like a rollercoaster. For 10 years, I have experienced ups and downs, moments of anticipation and anxiety, and moments of challenges and accomplishments.

I was only three years old when I came to SMCA and did not want to leave my mom’s side. Now, 10 years later, I have feelings of emotions, excitement and perhaps fear about leaving my second home, SMCA.

I am grateful for the guidance and values that SMCA has given me. I grew academically. I have thoroughly enjoyed my ride on my rollercoaster. As a result, I am now equipped to face the challenges of the future.

Matias

I believe St. Matthias Catholic Academy is a community that values friendship, unity, loyalty, and learning, All of us have built strong connections and have established ties with peers and teachers. I have been a part of SMCA since I was born. Three of my sisters were graduates of SMCA, They were from the classes of 2009,2013, and 2014, I am happy to say that I am a member of the class of 2023. This school has played a large role in my academic and personal development. Like my family, and other families within this community, St. Matthias provided us with a strong foundation. I am glad to be a part of this community that has helped so many successfully face a bright future.

Salma

My name is Salma and I am an 8th-grade student at St.Matthias Catholic Academy. From the very beginning, I knew that St.Matthias was a place with great opportunities. St.Matthias is a school that promotes change and growth. I believe change is very important, especially throughout the formative years. SMCA helped me embrace change and provided me with the ability to adapt. When I think of St.Matthias Catholic Academy, I think of family. There's no distance, only love and a strong bond.

Joseph

I’ve been a part of St. Matthias Catholic Academy for ten years with two sisters graduating as classes of 2019 and 2022. SMCA is not only about family, it is my family. I have formed friendships and we have built strong connections. In the end, there is one common denominator: St Matthias Catholic Academy.

Whether we go our separate ways or attend the same high school, there will always be a special sense of comradery among the class of 2023. We will be bringing the spirit of SMCA to our new schools.

I am grateful for the support, and experiences that made SMCA a family. I do believe SMCA has given me the resources to succeed in high school and beyond.
