Principal's Message

Greetings Families and Friends,
My name is Keri-Ann Wade-Donohue. I am excited to be appointed the next principal of St. Matthias Catholic Academy. I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead such a vibrant and faith filled community.
I am a lifelong resident of Queens originally from Elmhurst. I have been a parishioner of St. Adalbert almost my entire life. I attended St. Adalbert Catholic Elementary School and St. Francis Preparatory High School. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College and my Master’s Degree in Education, Social Studies 7-12 from Molloy College. I returned to Molloy College to pursue my NYS Certificate in School Building Leadership. This upcoming school year will be my 25th in Catholic education, during which I have been a classroom teacher, a department chair, and an assistant principal for the past 7 years.
I look forward to working with you in partnership to ensure our scholars receive the very best education while also engaging them in their faith, thus creating lifelong learners who are committed to building a just society. Together we can prepare our scholars to serve as Jesus did.
This is going to be an amazing year!
Sincerely,
Keri-Ann Wade-Donohue
